Angela Falk

Angela Falk is a dancer and choreographer currently based in France, where she is a member of the Centre Chorégraphique National Ballet de Lorraine. She has previously danced for the Limòn Dance Company and Buglisi Dance Theatre, and was honored to perform in the Merce Cunningham Trust’s “Night of 100 Solos” in April 2019 at BAM in New York City. Recent projects include performing with Ilya Vidrin’s Reciprocity Collaborative at Jacob’s Pillow in 2018 and 2019; co-founding the Uptown Composition Club based in Inwood, NYC; teaching with the Promptus Collective; and dancing in the 2017 film biography “Reed Hansen, The Sacrosanct Accompanist.” As a choreographer, she’s presented work at Dixon Place, Triskelion Arts, Arts on Site, The Juilliard School, and in New Orleans and the San Francisco Bay Area. Angela studied at The Juilliard School, graduating under the direction of Lawrence Rhodes in 2017. She was awarded the school’s highest prize, the Joseph W. Polisi “Artist as Citizen” award for her work in the community and was a recipient of a Juilliard Career Advancement Fellowship. She was born and raised in Lafayette, CA, and received her early training from the California Academy of Performing Arts.
